Mountain Bikers Energy Tip.

wholegrain cerealWell everyone who is seriously into it mountain biking or anything else knows that it's important to stay in tip top condition and to replace energy after a serious bout of riding/exercise.
SkipRatt often uses the energy drink after a long trek to replace all that he has lost as I'm sure most of you do. However there is a more economical (and lets face it we all like that word at the moment) way to give yourselves a boost after a long ride.
After a bout of hard exercise try a bowl of cereal instead..recent research shows that a bowl of wholegrain cereal with milk can be just as effective for revitalising the replenishes energy-releasing glyocen and blocks the lactate that can lead to stiff muscles.
It doesn't have to be any particular long as it's whole grain...and a bit of fruit or honey can be added to give extra flavour and a boost to your energy levels too.
So Mountain bikers..... there you have it...a quick cheap fix to aching muscles!!
